I am afraid to report that Gordon is no more.
First lap, second corner and the con rod broke, smashing everything in it's path.
Photo shows bits in belly pan that trackside marshalls kindly returned to me before finally loading him in the recovery truck.
Crash damage we could mend, but this engine failure means the gordon project has finally reached it's conclusion.
Gordon is terminated.
